:upset:

After a few problems with warm running my worst fears have come true.
Today I put my VTS in to the garage to change the termo and I was told on collection "Reckon your have to change that Head Gasket"

So what with new belt, proper Citroen gasket set (Don't do nothin but OE parts wen it comes to Head gaskets) and all the rest of it all in about . . .

£500

So, I think I'm going to have to put her of the road for a month while I collect the cash to get it sorted.

Talk about bad timing, Black headlights turned up this week as well as a Dimma style grill not to mention Insurance and MoT @the end of October

Yer, I know its steep but I wouldn't go with the 1st one I got a price for.

And in a Ideal world I would do it myself but I don't have access to a drive or garage so any work has to be done at the road side plus I live on not a main road but a busy one none the less.
