thats what i was thinkint unless ull have to have the pistons blown out a new pipe made and then redon with new seals etc,

looks like the retaining nut was rusted on and they couldnt get it off, so they just cut the hose.

as for as I'm away the other one is alright, but this one being like that, needed to know if it was fixable or not, theres always a catch when you get offerd something cheap:upset:

that little nut thing just slides up and down the remainder of pipe

What ever you do be careful. Brake line faiure on a front wheel is a massive shitter

not sure if pipe would pull out, surely theres a way to fix it as they are not cheap calipers to buy

camp david thats why I'm trying to get as much info as pos, don't want to end up dead!!

been thinking is it possible to trim pipe, flare it and make a new connection?

well a bit of digging and found the info I need, might come in handy if anyone else wants to go this route
They are from a 406 V6 coupe so will just bolt straight onto 106/saxo struts Will be running 206 GTi180/ 307 HDi discs to get the correct offset for the new calipers. Will also need to uprate the master cylinder to an early 406 with non-ABS. Brake power should be amazing!!!
