Need help

I've ordered a new rear axel for my saxo 1.1 and thy are lowering it by 40mm at the same time...I'm takin it I a local garage to fit the new axel and I was just wondering if they would need to do anything with the torsion bar???

Not if the company youve ordered the beam from is lowering it. All the garage should do is take the old one off and put the new one on.
