Ok , i managed to tidy my garage out and now want to pimp it up a bit over winter. Just need to paint the walls etc
After checking out a friends pimped up big shed , which was proper
The thing i am struggling with is getting some reasonable priced rubberised flooring, prefferably blue or chequered
Can anyone point me in the right direction, a bit like this

go to your nearest carpet shop, ask if they've got any nice 2nd hand carpet they've picked up from someones house, you'll often be doing each other a favour. Or odd cuts.

How many carpeted garages have you seen ?

It would be nice and cosy when you're under the car, get yourself a lamp and a three piece suite whilst you're at it.

Quite a few tbh... It does make them a lot warmer usually in winter.
plus if you line the walls with carpet, you can have no fear swinging your door open and it leaving a wall mark.
Depends on how big your garage is though, whether it's a mancave or workshop. obviously differant needs, differant flooring. :P
(also, i was saying, carpet shops sometimes take away rubber floors/linos. )

Costco have an offer on garage flooring at the moment. Just like that. Any colour too.

Whoever owns that garage in the pic has moolah. The compressor in the pic costs ££££. I'm a sad bastard for knowing that.
Jonathan, I got these rubber/plastic flooring for the back of my van, I work for companies that have these in their garages, if you want a pack or two I can get hold of some over the next few weeks. Oil wipes off easily!
If you want other colours I worked at a place in MK that creates/imports them if you're desperate for blue I can find out how much they sell for.

Carpet in the garage is good, I just get carpet from a local place like someone said I do them a favour by taking old carpet. Plus the carpet absorbs and moisture in the air giving you a dryer garage. When it's time to replace it I just ring up and ask them to save me a old carpet.

Cheers for the heads up , i have been busy painting the garage walls white. I have decided on going for a vinyl floor as it is cost effective. Going for a aluminium chequer plate style

I've got carpet in mine, pinched it when my Dad was renewing his stuff in his house.
Keeps your feet warm and the birds love it.

I'd be concerned if you've got a tweety pie in your garage, shitting on stuff. ;)
But your garage is coming along quite nicely. :D

Looks good. Bit of a hassle having to move everything to paint the walls again though isn't it?

Don't you normally put the floor down after painting?

Just get some carpet, either get it off relatives, steal from a bin or go to a carpet place and get their old shit.
