Check the connectors behind the dash then.

I'll check it tomorrow, I think the right connector because the clip is broken behind the dash to hold the connector

That is probably your problem then :P
Especially since both those light feeds come in on the same connector. I seem to recall anyway :)

Then the fault must lie with the instrument cluster itself(circuit board)
Roland

You mean the dashboard itself

Yes the unit that has the clocks in it.
Roland
12th October 2013, 14:34
Do I need to replace the unit or can I use some parts off a unit that I have as spare?
stevo67
12th October 2013, 14:56
Well you could another unit & then swap your speedometer over,so that you then have the correct mileage showing.

It won't if you have an LED dash?

Was your original post a complete sentence? That's a question fyi! :P
If you have an LED lit dash, the temp warning light will not light unless the car is overheating or the sensor is faulty.

I have tested it with my spare unit and with that the temp/oil light will not come on when I have the key in contact position so the problem is not the unit? this morning the indicator light have go on before I start the car and now the will not go on

It was :p umm yeah it's just a standard dash... Not sure if its led or not tbh. But if this is the case it won't even light up with key in ignition before starting car then?
