you can buy a socket i got one in the garage and inside it is all metal wires about 20 them which can be pushed in each one! depending shape your nut you might be able to use this you put it on and will take the shape of the locking nut inside the socket and hopefully be able to turn it!!

So this means locking wheel nuts aren't that good, security-wise, if they're that easy to get off?

well youd hear it if they were on your drive whacking away with a hammer, dunno bout that gator thing though, i would of thought the socket for the gator would be too big for the hole on some alloys

they are good coz if someone needs to use a socket and a hammer there gona draw attention to themselfs at night trying to take them off, anyway there is a way around anything if you know how

I now have his exact problem!
I have bought a new set of locking wheel nuts, and will soon need to get the old ones off so I can get new tyres.

How exactly is it done with an old socket and a big hammer?

(If I offer rep, will that persuade anyone to give me a real good answer??!!!)

get a socket that is just 2 small for the wheel stud then line it up with the stud and bray like fuck with the hammer untill the socket is right onto the stud then slowly losen it.
