hello all, i am getting a mk1 r reg vtr this week :)
the first thing i am going to do to it is try and hide the bonnet cable that runs under the inside of the wing, if that makes sense. but im not to sure how to go about it. any suggestions?

Do you mean the bonnet release cable? Iirc its already hidden?

yes the release cable, and what i meant was is move it so people can put their arms under and reach it and pop open the bonnet.

Do you have wheel arch liners? Surely that would stop someone popping your bonnet lol.
I cant say I've ever heard of anyone having trouble with people opening their bonnets though! You're not from Birmingham are you? :P

yes, as in random passer by's. it is so easy to do! doesnt matter if you have the arch liners or not, still proper easy to do. on the passenger side front wing put you arm up and around and near the top of the shocks is a cable pull it and pop goes your bonnet, but if you pull the wrong thing a liquid will pour out haha. nah im not haha, from a little town in the south west with loads of scabby people who would nick a battery to weigh in down the scrappy for a few quid ahah.

Without saying too much there are other ways of entering a saxo lol.

hahaha! dont we all know that :P an alarm with sort that, i hope haha. i havent even picked the car up yet and i have a headache trying to think of the best way to replace the bonnet catch cable, as i dont want to wake up in the morning go to my car to go to work and it doesnt start because someone wanted my battery :L
