Is that a serious question? Retrim it if you must, don't spray it, it will go all hard and look shit. Having said that, it will look shit either way.

Not really keen on the denim look, just need to sort a colour out because it's faded to a horrible patchy colour from being in the sun and looks terrible but don't know whether to redo the black or match with the interior

Sounds like you already have too much blue, do it black. It will look tacky with even more blue

id say the parcel shelf is one of the things always best left standard

colourcoded will look too tacky

also spraying it will make it go all hard and weird, just buy another one for like a tenner if yours is faded
