New Saxo VTS Owner

Well....

I now have taken delivery of my New Saxo VTS.

First impressions are good, its a phase 2 2000 plate with only 70000 miles.

I mainly plan on tidying her up and then maybe a few subtle engine tweeks.

My main issues to resolve first is

A) Head Unit ASAP as the previous owner kept it :-(
B) Sort the wing mirrors out as the electric adjust does not work although the manual adjust is missing the knob so not sure the story there is it manual or electirc lol
C) Gear throw and clutch bite although the clutch is really strong the bite is quite high and the gear lever is not what I am use to in terms of its throw.
D) Rocker Cover gasket

So having looked at the heater blower problem looks like the resistor is at fault. So looked on the bay for a replacement and found this:

Okay so I was thinking Ive seen this part before and remember that when I got the car home I found an un opened box with the above part in it. YAY!!!

Now my issue is having researched the problem on here the above looks nothing like the pictures of the heater blower resistor that I believe is at fault, I thought that was more like a small box with a fuse wire attached. Can anyone help please?

Welcome to the forum. The newbies section doesn't really get a lot of attention really.
There's a project/progress section a little further down the forum menu which gets alot of use and frequent viewing.
