York's peace offer to Scots

Citizens of York are being asked to sign a treaty promising never to shoot Scots with a bow and arrow. Under an ancient by-law, which has never been repealed, York people can "legally" shoot Scotsmen with a bow and arrow within the city walls.

I think thats to do with chester not scotland!I live in chester and thats all you here from the bloody tour guides.......the english can shoot a welsh person at midnight on the walls of chester with a bow and arrow......old news.
