Couple of quick questions

Hi all this is my first post so i hope this is in the right place. I got myself a Citroen Saxo Exclusive 1.4 Auto a few weeks ago and just had a couple of quick questions.

1: When i move my temperature selector to warm there is no heat being generated from the vents but it is warmer than when it is set to cold, this remains the same even after the engine has been running for a while.

2: When i lock the car with the fob the alarm will randomly go off after 5-10 minutes i also have a telematics box fitted so i don't know if this will interfere with it.

Your 1st question,i`d suggest draining the antifreeze refilling then bleeding the cooling system.It seems like you`ve got an air lock.

1. Air lock or blocked heater matrix and check its got a thermostat in.

2. No idea just take alarm off pointless anyway its immobilised.

So I've disabled the ultrasonic sensors and that seems to have fixed my alarm problem.

sensors for the alarm mine dose it sometimes if i forget to set it to doors only mode, and the heat your feeling is just the warm air from the engine bay, like the others said probably need flushing, if that dont work check fuses for the heater are ok

I've spoken to a friend of mine who's a mechanic and he said if flushing and bleeding doesn't do it, it's probably gonna be the thermostat.

Just a quick update i bled my cooling system today which seems to have cleared an air lock as my heater is now working so thanks to everyone who posted. Cheers guys.
