had a look at a car there today and seemed really nice looked and sounded fine. but looking on the net ive seen loads of comments about how bad they are as a company with selling crap cars. Mainly jap cars like evos and scoobs and skylines etc.
Anyone had any doings with this garage at all please let me know as im dubious about buying this car now.

its a multi storey car park been converted into a huge showroom with an impressive collection of cars.

Never had any dealings but I've only ever read bad things. Their cars always seem incredibly cheap though, that is one thing I've noticed. Suppose all you can do is just check the car thoroughly, like mega thoroughly.

My friend was going to buy a 106 from there for about £150, had some tax and mot but was just a bit too tatty. I'd buy something to tool around in for a few months but nothing more

Don't buy anything from them at all, worked on a few of their cars in the past and it was always a price cutting job.
All the Subaru lads and the Mitsubishi lads won't touch them with a barge pole.

All the Subaru lads, Mitsubishi lads, Nissan lads and anyone with any sense won't touch them with a barge pole.
How the last bit should read.

Probably cheap because they're low grade cars when imported and thats why they're cheap.
Look good on the internet, but up close they have loads of niggles.
mate bought an S14 from them 8 years ago and it wernt too bad. they did rag it from cold on the test drive though :\

The guy from wakey on here a few years ago bought a car, turned out to be duff and ended up taking them through court for a full refund. Got it in the end

Guessing most of there stock is higher than average miles also seeing as most of them are listed as 0 miles. Normally a sign of high miles.
With a generic car like the Mazda you are looking at, it can't hurt to take a look. Probably been a trade in.
I think there bad name comes from the shitty grade imports they sell.

Got a terrible reputation in the local area for shoddy patch ups as i think a fair few of their imports come As crashed vehicles which try repair in the cheap and then sell on.
Also hear storeys of dodgy mechanicals and a few of them nicking the car back after you buy it by keeping a copy if the keys :/
I'd be careful if you do go for a look

Don't even think about buying a car from these lot mate. They're as dodgy as they come. Plus the whole thing's funded by drug money.

I'm good friends with the family and can assure you their business is not funded by drugs at all.
Many of the bullshit you read on the forums is just that, passed around and twisted...obviously some of the cars are cheap as they need bits or work or higher mileage etc, otherwise they'd be main dealer prices...some people dot understand that.

A lot of it is over inflated shite yeah...howany people in this thread are talking from first hand experience? With imports you buy a car from pictures, so once it's arrived it's theirs, they had to sell them but the price reflects that
They don't do imports much anymore and the majority of stuff is all ex company owned vehicles, with the volume of cars they sell you will get some problems, it's to be expected, as I said, they are a 'trade centre' if you want approved used with a full peace of mind warranty buy from a main dealer...

It was all over the papers that these individuals were involved in drugs, stolen vehicles and firearms lol
Companies don't just get a reputation as bad as this place. They create it.

So all the people who have actually posted online, themselves, about their own personal problems with them, are just lying?
Fair enough if there was 2 or 3, but there's quite a hand full..
Government conspiracy maybe?

2nd December 2013, 00:50
As said before, you only hear the bad reviews, people are much more likely to post a bad review than a good one, bearing in mind these lads sell upto 30 cars a week there's gonna be some negative ones!
Again, as I said, how many people are actually posting from their experiences? Not just a friend of a friend whose cousins aunty bought a car from them?
I can speak first hand as I have bought a car from them and seen many happy and returning customers...
