Okay so only yesterday my mk2 vtr started making a squeaking noise when driving but only when turning. The noise starts as soon as I turn the wheel and squeaks faster when going faster etc. Its been lowered 40mm about a month ago and I moved the power steering pipe out of the way enough for it to clear the steering arms. Im hoping this is more than likely the drivers side driveshaft as ive neglected it a little with the boot only having one clip for a while. But just want to make sure I dont have to spend a fortune sorting it out.
If anyone can help would be awesome! Thanks

they usually give more of a clunk or grind than a squeak. a belt possibly?

I thought about a belt, possibly cam? But I didnt think it would have had much to do with steering other than straining the power steering pump
