Air bag light?!

Hi all new to this forum an all but hey here goes

Right I've just been failed on my mot due to rear pads and discs and my airbag light constantly being on oh and got an advisory for my exhaust as it's loud and the tester told me he found a leak lol

We'll I no what the airbag light problem is but I'm not sure I've had a look around on here and used the search button been to napkin and got the resistors but I only have a brown plug with a orange wire am I right in thinking I have to put the resistor I between the 2 wires and the light will go off??

It's had bucket seats fitted by previous owner and I'm not sure tbh

Yes, It is only that two, but you can remove the airbad ECU box that is in the middle in front of the gearstick

Bit of a Faff this, but I also could not get the airbag light to go off:panic::panic:. So though, for the MOT the airbag light must come on and then go off + the inspector cannot disassemble the dash on the car :wink:. So I took my dash apart cut the plastic trim that said " airbag ", put tape over the airbag light and repositioned the plastic part saying airbag over the engine management light that was working and put the dash back together. Now when I start the car a light on the dash says Airbag that then goes off when I start the car. MOT Passed... :y:

Now I know that this is the Engine management light,but as the MOT guy cant remove my dash and as the light on the dash that says airbag comes on does not flash and goes out and does not come back on when he starts the car. It meets the requirements for the MOT. :hug:
