I've just put a sub and amp in the car and I have ground the sub to the boot latch and I'm having a few problems like when I brake my speedo and headlights go on and off, my mate said he grounded his to there and it was fine, have I done something else wrong??

The sub doesn't need to be ground at all? Do you mean your amplifier

Have you tried moving the earth point somewhere else to see if the problem goes away?

Earth it to the bolt under the back seat and wires are betrer hidden like that too.

Well surely that's the first logical thing to do, if the problem has only been present since you installed a sub and amp the first thing I would do is take it back off to see if that's the cause.

Yeah it would be and that's what I'll do when I've got my car again I only use it sometimes as use my other car so store it up a lockup so that's where I do all my work from,

Might be a stupid question but I have re ground the amp and it is still doing the same but noticed I have a brake light out so I contacted thenpeople that put thensub in and they saod this is the problem but I cant remember if it was doing it before? And is it unsafe to drive while this is happening? ?

Wow you need to read through what you've written before you post. And why make a new thread when you've posted the same thing in here?
Anyway, it's pretty obvious that it isn't safe to drive if all your lights are going wild. Just try removing the rear lights, clean up all the connections and see if that helps.
