Changing the gearbox over on my vtr yesterday i noticed there is a lot of play in the rear mount/bush of one of the wishbones. I have seen you can buy the mounts separately but i was just wondering how hard they are to fit?
Or would it be easier to pay a little more and replace the whole wishbone?

Just replace the whole wishbone, if one bush is gone so the others not going to be far behind. Plus new ball joints can't be knocked.

However, you could put poly bushes in. Depends what your after.

This is on my vtr run around so going to avoid poly bushes, but i am looking to do them on the vts. Do they make much difference?
Also is it worth replacing both wishbones or stick with the one side?

I'd always do both together, better than one side tight and the other sloppy (bit like a fit bird compared to a fat bird). Poly are supposed to be good but you feel all the bumps with them being stiff.
