kornlover30
2nd September 2006, 17:11

kornlover30
2nd September 2006, 17:32

Yates
2nd September 2006, 17:33
They both mean exactly the same bloody thing Sport and Rapid, same.

but they dont

it translates to

vts - sporty
vtr - something about a nice interior

Martsax
2nd September 2006, 17:35
but they dont

it translates to

vts - sporty
vtr - something about a nice interior
But many a person has said Rapide witch means fast does it not?Sport (in cars) is associated with fastness/speed.I.E Beeing similiar or the same.
But hell,i could be wrong :)

Yates
2nd September 2006, 17:39
the translation of the abreviation vtr says about a nice interior, so its not actually the same is it

Martsax
2nd September 2006, 17:41
but the TR and TS interior are similar. and i'll ask again, The heeelis Furio all about? A furios saxo?

Yates
2nd September 2006, 17:41
but the TR and TS interior are similar

yeah your correct, but who built them? the french...maybe cos the vts is slightly faster

Sean
2nd September 2006, 17:47
its not

Vitesse tres riche

its

Vitesse tres rapide

and

Vitesse tres sportif

damo wil qoute me on that one

i'll quote you if you like, you're wrong.
VTS- vitesse tres sportif
VTR- vitesse tres riche

as matt says, sportif refers to the speed, riche refers to the interior. and i got that from Citroen UK. bit more reliable than Damo to be honest (although that's not saying much :P)

Yates
2nd September 2006, 17:48

DevilDamo
3rd September 2006, 21:56
I answered this a long long time ago and Sean... my meanings were the same as yours. It's just I was given one too many letter with my abbreviations.

This is what I was told by Citroen...

Vitesse Tre Riche (VTR)
- a sporty car with a high level of trim

Vitesse Tre Sportiff (VTS)
- a high performance car

There might be an extra "s" i.e. Tres and the Sportiff might only have one "f" but it's 99% there after I did the leg work :-)
