Broken wing mirror

Drivers side Wing mirror seems to have had a knock and it won't go

Push it forwards & you`ll feel it slot back in mate.

That's had quite a knock, mate. That deffo won't go back.

You'll need to replace the unit, cos the springs in yours have been stretched too far.

I thought that was the case, looks like I'll be getting a new wing mirror!
