Plugs and Leads?

This is probably a stupid question but...When do you know you might need new plugs and leads?

My car runs very lumpy and jumpy when cold. It has to think about what it wants you do when you pull away. Is this a sign of the bits need replacing or something else?

Also it has nothing do do with plugs and leads but the upper engine mount by the ECU... easy to replace?

Any help apprieciated

Wouldn't hurt to try new plugs £10-£20 for a set. Yeah you've got some black box over the plugs not leads LOL

Also your meant to change plugs every 36000miles at least

Its only a 1998 (r-reg) Mk 1, 1.1i. My m8 has a 2002 one and he just has a coil module. right just gotta see if it has made any difference now lol. cheers all
