parking ticket

i was in central london today amazing found a parking space.

put a pound in the meter and it gave me about 6 mins. so 10 mins later i came back theres a warden standing with his computer type in my details. he had not issued me with a ticket yet or put it on so i got in my car and drove away.

should i expect a ticket?

Haha £1.50 for parking here all day and that includes a bus ride directly to town and back!

because i remeber someone saying if the ticket has not been given to you or put on your car then they cant issue it to you so i thought fuk it i will drive off

legally they have to give you 10minutes to get back to your vehicle from the expiration time on your ticket so eg: 10am, you have to get back before 10:10am. a warden told me that.

Don't think you'll get a ticket as I think you have to have it issued to you, and you didn't. Also, he was probably initially taking your details so that he could come back a few mins later to give you your ticket, if you were still there.
