View Full Version : TRAX Event - Brief Summary & Prizes!

Sorry for the lateness of this post... it was supposed to be online early doors this morning, but something important came up. :err:

Anyway... TRAX should be a really great event this weekend and gives many of us the opportunity to socialise and enjoy each others company and take an interest in the SAxperience show cars... not forgetting the rest of the show!

I aim to get to Silverstone for approx 7:30am. Those of you in receipt of show passes, etc will have my contact details and the location of the main hotel, etc... meet time 7am.

When we get to the show, Oz will once again take control of parking arrangements. Please have some patience during the setup and if you get there early please do not leave your car unattended... this can be quite frustrating, as everyone is trying to position their cars around the 'odd one out'.

The run up to this event has been crammed with all sorts of hurdles which weve had to overcome... but Im please to say we have managed to arrange a few new attractions for you... and maybe a few more surprises to be unveiled on the day ;)

Prizes/Awards/Trophies

There are a number of prizes and awards available on the day of the event.

The Premium Member Prize Draw, sponsored by Polished Bliss will be drawn during the day. If the winner is in attendance, the prize will be available to take away!

A quick reminder of the prize draw prize...

Show & Shine Competition

A show and shine competition will be held, which can be entered by interested Saxperience members. In order to enter you need to collect and display the 'Show & Shine' label in your windscreen. These are available from moderators on the day... primarily from Mike (barrett)

The competition will be judged by Polished Bliss between the hours of 12 and 2pm.

Show & Shine 1st place will receive a trophy and £50 of Polished Bliss vouchers/credit

Show & Shine 2nd place will receive a trophy and £25 of Polished Bliss vouchers/credit

You'll need to get cleaning early in order to get your cars looking their best before judging commences!!!

We plan to have a gazebo as the focal point of the stand again, so if you have spare room in your car, please bring a fold up chair... or spare gazebo! ;)

REMEMBER...

The Saxperience track session is at 3:20pm... so make sure you wander over to the track or grandstand... and get lots of photos ;)

The track driving award will need some input from people not out on track :P

I will update this thread with more details later...

Any questions, comments or feedback?

Awesome stuff, good to see the outlines of it all up and in black and white.

simo has long sleeves so i'm sure there's something else up there!!!!! ;)

I would like to stress that at fcs we nearly BOUNCED a car in to place because the owner had left it un attended, soif you arrive early, PLEASE stay with your car until the convoy from the hotel(S) arrive so we can all move together.

no idea about the layout yet or even the bit where we are, the only bit we do know is that FSC are next door to us.

Gonna be a pucker weekend

Andy isn't able to attend TRAX this year, so there is a chance for other people to win the award now!

Best Saxo will be decided on the day by what we thing merits the best saxo on the stand.
