Help needed

Hi guys. I had a saxo 1.1 desire and it had a personalised reg plate S18 AXO. When I sold my car I was advised to retain the reg plate as I could make some money on it. I have had it on ebay twice and posted a few times on Facebook. Someone messaged me and said that I was maybe expecting too much.
I was just wondering what people think is a good asking price? And if anyone would be interested?
