hi, i was looking at a 2.0l subaru impreza sport the best insurance quote i got was £1250, im just wondering is there anyway i can get this down to about £1000. will phoning them up get me any discount, will adding named drivers get me a discount or anything else? thanks

add named divers , parents siblings etc, if there older and have clean licence thats one way. another way is possibly trying a higher excess? i think certain types of jobs can change the price slightly although dont quote me on that.
best thing i can suggest is try a few different companys, change your details around a bit with the same companys and see if the quotes come up a bit cheaper.

I found a named driver puts it down alot and also go on money expert job title helper can reword your job title I changed mine from site operative to site agent saved me 80 quid and play with where it will be kept.
ps dont buy a subaru sport they are tragically slow a 1.4 saxo would probably be faster.

even with a turbo? apparently its a subaru impreza 2.0l sport on the log book, but it has a turbo fitted.

Waste of time asking on here.
A few years ago I tried putting my parents on and it increased the price, now it goes down.
Every policy is different for each person so save your time and ring up/get online quotes to see what's cheapest.
