piece of string, depends how it's maintained and driven. I have seen some over here who rag their car, buy parts from the scrappy and complain that it breaks again within weeks.

Never had a problem with mine except for a gearbox at 120k and a bit of moisture in the indicator stalk.

I'm 26 and just drive it normal average Btween 40-50mph i bought it as I sold my 106 and my 306 needed abit of money spending on it and I thought id give the saxos a try as looked decent and was cheap enough and sayin moisture my back rear light gone cloudy

My last saxo had been treated very well for years, a lad then had it about a year before me and he ragged it...I then got it for £200 and all it really needed was a good service and it was fine. It's recently just ticked over 130k miles and it's still running strong, I gues all then years Ch!p had it did it good! Then I bought a saxo with 90k miles on for £400 and everything that can go wrong has, rear axle, clutch, head gasket...etc. saxos are just luck of the draw

Two ways, the easy way and the very easy way:

- take the light cluster out, piece of piss. Hairdryer for a minute or so.

- park the car in the sunshine

I had full service history, and it was like, oil change, tyre change and that's about it. Kid who bought it off of me had not one, not two, but three accidents within a month, wrote it off. Idiot.

wouldn't buy a new one just because of moisture. Like you mentioned, shit weather and a lot of people have cloudy lights.

Like others have said, there's some good cars and some bad cars about - you just happened to get an unlucky one by the sounds of it. Generally though, if you get a decent one, it shouldn't fuck up that much at all.
