Really need some help

My car is a 1.4 8v furio mods are lowered all round 40mm and a carbon fibre induction kit. Everything else is standard.

My problem is when driving in any gear as soon as the revs reach 2500 it over revs (jumps) to 3000 I crnt work it out what's wrong with my car?

clutch might be on its way out. Does the revs shoot up whenever you give it a bit of welly?
