Just acquired another Vts and I've got all my audio left out my Astra van which I want to change over. The only issue is the front speakers in the van were larger than the oem Saxo speaker = them not fitting. Does anyone know where I can get the larger pods that fit into the doors. They used to be on eBay but I can't seem to find them.

What size are the speakers you plan on putting in?
Regarding the pods, I'm not sure where to get them but you might be able to make something to adapt them if they're not tooooo big?

either that or fit a 306 parcel shelf, need a bit of modification to fit, but they fit, less work than making pods

where did you hear that from? yes, having shit 6x9's along with a sub in your boot is a bad idea, but going from just some 10cm's in the rear quarters, to some 16cm's is alot better.
i've finally connected my speakers up the other day, went from focal 10cm speakers, to the same model 16cm speakers, and its night and day. miles better. but i dont have a sub in my boot

See I have a sub in my boot so when you have rear speakers and the bass setup right the sound quality is terreible. Where I find a larger component setup up front and bass in the rear gives a far higher better setup. That's just my opinion mind and I do run the comps via a amp

well yeah thats a much better setup, ideal world some good amped 6.5'' comps up front and a good sub out the back, although personally i am trying to keep it all looking as stock, and as little weight gain, as possible.
kicker do a set of 6'' speakers that apparently fit in a 13cm hole, although i am yet to get my hands on a set. but my personal ideal set up would be the above speakers, jl/kicker/alpine amp, and one of the jl microbox's
and pics of the underside, original speaker baskets have to be cut to fit aftermarket speakers, and as i said the shelf does have to modified, (some cut of the back and sides, but thats easy, there is a metal support bar running through the shelf, which bar the very ends, is the perfect shape/length for the rear, and the sides its just a case of cutting enough off let it sit flush. you do loose the strings though. also, i haven't yet restapled the carpet, just carpet glued, so its starting to peel up.
standard v 306

can see the metal bar here, perfect, cutting flush with the bar for the last 10cms however creates a gap, although it is only about 1-1.5cm to far in

and the new focals installed, baskets cut
