If you're handy with a spanner, give it a go yourself, just have to whip the struts out. Top mounts and bearings aren't much at all, have a look on euro car parts

About £12 each. It's easy enough to whip the struts off, what I did was whip the struts off and took them to a garage. They swapped them I've for £10 then just a rebuild.
Possibly a knackered cv joint as well.

Bought em today from Eurocarparts :) Was 35 quid but with discount came to £22.73 :D
Gave the mechanic a ring and he's coming round on Thursday to fit them for 100quid and have a look underneath to see what else is needed to be done :)

Well he said 80 to 100 quid. because he's a mobile mechanic. It's gonna be a bit more but i trust the bloke so im willing to pay a bit more knowing he's gonna do a good job :)

It is a bit labour intensive to get them done. Not a bad price.

Most mechanics around here charge £30 an hour.. If not a little bit more, so a mobile one, working off jacks and axle stands, probably take an hour each side.. So seems a decent enough price.. Although I'd take it to a garage myself, they can get under the car and see if anything else has any wear and tear
