We'll with my new job I get sent to different plants and tbh most of their equipment is so old it's not worth using so I plan on getting a cheap arc welder to take around with me.

Any recommendations? Or any links?

I've got one for sale. Nice and cheap as it's not adjustable and missing the back plate off the cover

Old tools are arguably better than new cheap tar.

What would you use an arc for?? Get a mig.

It's used for welding plate steel and rsj's. A mig just won't cut it. And old tools are fine but normally parts missing such as dials and clamps.

I just use my fist, punch stuff, and the pure power used, welds any 2 materials together

Get an old oil cooled oxford, brilliant bits of kit and cost peanuts
