Hi all,

I have a 2000 "w" reg saxo 1.4 furio, and it had got a random knocking noise on dry steering but i can make it do it when i want to find out the problem,

has any one had this issue before and if so could you shed some light on it for me

What do you mean by "dry steering"......is that a term for non power steering?

Does the knocking noise happen when you're driving or when turning the steering on the spot etc?

its not always at full lock but its pissing me off. also is it an mot failure?

ive got a doner 1.1 sat on my drive thought i could save money ;);)

On the spot......then its more than likely cv joints as has been said or top mounts.

Yes....

I had this at the tail end of last year,one of them was gubbed but replaced both as you buy them as a pair.
