View Full Version : Any interest in a Group Buy on Top Mounts?

So,
I like these:
http://www.kamracing.co.uk/car-tuning/citroen/citroen-saxo/saxo-suspension/bushes-mounts/citroen-saxo-kam-racing-solid-top-mount-set.html
They look sexy. MuZiZZle fancies some too. Does anyone else? I might speak to the guys at Kam and see if we can sort out a group buy if there's enough interest?
I haven't spoken to them yet, so there's literally nothing in place, but I thought I'd gauge interest first in case no-one wants any and I end up wasting their time.

I'd be up for this depending on price. Can get the compbrake/shenpar kits for £100 so would need to be around that/less.
Unless there is a substantial difference between these and the aforementioned competitors, but I can't seem to see anything so far.
Kev's input would be needed tbh, I'd PM him with the link to the thread.

I'll look into what price we can do a group buy for. These are better than Compbrake. When designing them we had two choices. We could have gone for cheap bearings and beaten or matched Compbrake, or fit a high quality bearing which will last a lot longer. Guess what we chose!

Kam man, I need your input on proper suspension. What do you recommend on a track car I'm likely to take out about 5 times a year? Full of multi adjustables or something half decent?

PM me. It depends what your car setup is really. I will need to know the car spec chassis wise and what tyres you plan to run. If you are running full slicks you need something that can cope with the extra side loads for example.

I've still had no reply to my original PM dude, I dunno what's up there at the moment but they seem very busy or distracted.
I've had no problems previously with Kam at all, bought quite a bit from them, it'd be nice to know either way if this was a runner or not though, or even just an update to say 'in a few weeks' or something.

Sorry. I'm pretty snowed under these days. We've had a bit of a restructure so Jon works solely on the website backend while I run the rest of the business. Great in theory but I need big sheets of paper for my to-do list. This task got lost next to a doodle of a fraggle (one for the older lot).
I can do a group buy price of £125 delivered. Saving you £24
I cannot match off inferior quality parts from competitors i'm afraid, my bearings cost too much. I chose the best quality ones I could get rather than cheap ones at 1/3rd of the price.
