Primer overspray removal

Has anyone got any tips on the best way to remove dots of primer overspray from glass and bodywork? Getting my arse in to gear now weather is perking up! I'm considering buying some poorboys ssr3 cutting compound or are there other options that might work?

How many spots we talking? I'd say use a light compound on the majority but maybe try some nail varnish remover if it's just a few spots.

As for windscreen, thinners. Do all your windows, you won't regret it and you won't beleive the crud you get off.

If it's only a few spots and splatters, you may be better claying the spots with light to medium pressure before going 'gun-ho' with thinners etc. The clay is completely harmless to the paint whereas thinners can get messy in more than one way lol.

Hundreds of tiny spots unfortunately, have tried megs compound but not clay yet will give that a try. So thinners on the glass? I have white spirit?

If they're small you may be ok to be honest - I used to do valeting/detailing with my best mate during school holidays and weekends and a customer had parked his Z4 at his office and the builders next door had painted next doors office in the wind and covered the Z4 (and ~6 other cars) in paint, but a good claying saw the cars right :)
