Clutch problem please help

Hi there I have a wierd one here my clutch has suddenly out of nowhere started slipping really badly. The clutch was brand new 6 months ago. I had just had a new drive shaft in it and that night it drove fantastic then the next morning a pressed the clutch in to put the car in reverse to move back a little bit and then after that the clutch pedal changed the way it felt a little spongey and ever since then is slipping realy badly. I have tryed adjusting the clutch and it makes little or no differenece somtimes if you prop the ckutch pedak up with your foot it want slip at all ...

I am confused as I have spoke to a number if mechanics who say its a wierd one fir it to just start slipping out of nowhere..

Contaminated clutch maybe? If a bit oils got on it the it would cause it to slip.

New clutch!

That's just an idea though, but I think with the problems your having the box will have to come off regardless.
