Eating wheel bearings :(

Saxo vtr failed mot on rear wheel bearing, so I got it changed, now after 3 weeks? of driving, there's play in the bearing again, what's the cause of this?

The front nearside bearing is on the way out as well, and the car is pulling to the left, with a strong shake at 60mph, would all this add up to shagged bearings in no time?

was it torques correctly and a decent brand?

confirmed its not play in the beam?

Do you have the correct bearings for the hubs and shafts fitted?otherwise you will eat bearings.

update: I may have guessed the torque setting, this has probably ruined the bearing :( and the front wasn't the wheel bearing, whoever done the nut up last didn't tighten it enough!
