I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to saxo's, I was wondering if the phase 1 (square headlight) model has the same ecu as the phase 2 (rounded headlight) model, I just need to make sure as I already have a T reg vtr and I'm looking to buy a W reg vtr which has is low mileage and has apparent immobiliser problems, so if they are the same I can unlock the ecu on my T reg saxo and use it to get the W reg saxo running, or that the idea, any help or ifo would be appreciated:wacko:

Round headlight with be more than likely 3 plug ecu, square light will be single plug although that said Citroen had cross over years where cars you'd expect to be equipped with certain parts came with earlier or later ones!

W(2000) should be a one plug ecu - its 2001+ that's three!

I've got a 2000 w plate and it's a one plug and my x reg has a 3plug

Cool, so providing it has a 1 pin ecu I should be laughing :P
