So got my alternator here with the belt pulley fitted but I'm trying to seperate the alternator from the belt pulley.
Any idea how to get it off as all it's doing is spinning :( thanks

there is a spline in the center use that and an offset ring spanner and show it your teeth :)

Clamp the spline in a vice,then use a socket with a long handled ratchet,or breaker bar.
