Bloody phoned citroen to tell them i needed a rocker cover nut and stud and i sent my sister to citroen to pick them up as they said they had them in stock....... and guess what the bloke over the phone looked at the wrong part number and infact they only have the stud in stock and not the 6mm bolt!!!!!


Can i just use a washer and a 6mm bolt to secure the rocker cover on untill the part arrives as its going to take 4 working days to ge them in?!!?!?


Help appriciated im well annoyed though :upset:

6mm nut arnt they 10mm

dont see why not you cant use another 6mm bolt

Citroen are shite. My dad ordered a repeater surround and they asked if he wanted it painted which we did.

When the part came in the had orddered the actual repeater, like you can paint that, dicks lol.

yer its only a nut....

well i think its 6mm, the bolt is actually got a 10mm head on it but the thread is 6mm im sure of it ...... any suggestions????

How are you getting to work and stuff mate?
Im sure any old bolt will do for now wont it?

yer im sure it will, off to B and Q after work to get 1 i think !!! il have a look on the floor when i get home aswell because when it flew off it might still be on the pavement like my other spacer was. Literally the only bit missing now is the nut.

Been getting lifts into work with my nan HOW GAY so im hoping to get my car sorted for 2night then when citroen get the propper bolt in stock il go and get 1. ?! should be safe its only to hold the rocker cover on and make the seal tight. Any nut should do?!

thankyou hessle for helping mate, il let you all know if i get it sorted. Will pick up a 6mm washer and nut after work :)
