Simple torsion bar lowering guide?

is there a simple guide that i can follow to lower my rear end on the saxo 40mm

i have never done anything like this before

As you've never done it before i'd suggest making sure you don't need the car immediately in case you mess something up, all depends on how mechanically competent you are really.

If you've never done one, the chances are you never will. It's not as easy as it looks when things round off, break or seize.
