I want to replace my stranded gear knob and handbrake handle for something a bit nicer. Is there a guide/tutorial on here somwere on how to do this?
Cheers.

The gear knob just needs a really good tug to remove it, most people hit themselves in the face doing it.
The handbrake rubber can only be taken off by cutting it off, I think you can get a kit which sits over the rubber though.

I think the handbrake cover is made by mono? Best bet is to use the search button, your find everything your need to know that way.

You can get the standard handbrake covers off without cutting. Just takes a lot of pulling twisting and swearing haha. Someone put a massive momo one on mine all chromed. Thought it looked a bit tacky.

Metal covers for the handbrake and gearknob is tacky as and absolutely freezing when it's cold out. The standard gearknob is nice anyway.

I have a lovely metal top for my gear lever. When it gets below freezing, my hand sticks to it. :fcuk::fcuk:

Thanks for the info. I'm not wanting complete metal ones, what I want is leather ones with maybe a little metal running through it.
