Recently my car has started cutting out when I drop the revs at a junction and also has been misfiring and losing power. my brother changed the injectors and coil packs and also the ICV, it was working for a few hours with no issues then tonight it started doing the same thing again. A year ago when I got the car the fuel pump went so it was replaced however it showed similar symptoms to what it is doing now, I didn't know If anyone knew of anything else that it could be before I go getting the fuel pump changed again?

Yea mine was same bout 10 mins into journey would play up but started off random then just more frequent but I'd replaced fuel pump, filter, injectors, rail, icv then was a bout to give up as map sensor was only just a year old, replaced at all worked again. It measures air to petrol ratios so it links in to loss of power. Plus as its cheap it's worth a try

disconnect the battery for an hour.

then re connect it.
turn the igniong to the 2nd position without starting the car and turn it off again
do this 5 times then on the 6th time start the car and go for a drive

Dear, x-Angelia-x,
You may want to try replacing the coolant temp sensor, ( not the one for the gauge ) but the one for the E.C.U.
Another one you may want to try too, is replacing the crank sensor.
I hope this helps.

It seems to be running lean and there's no pressure to get fuel to the 4th cylinder any ideas why? We assume the fuel pump
