Morning chaps, I did have (still do have) a 2002 106 independence, which is up for sale, because on April 1st this got traded in at work http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/04/adabuby2.jpg

It's a 2010(59) corsa VXR, it's got 24k on the clock, full service history, MOT til January, and tax til august, and one elderly owner from new,

so me and a salesman worked out a great deal and I picked it up last night :D

Progress will be slow for a bit, and I'll get some more pics today at work.

To be fair a mate has got the base model for his missus and it's quite nice inside and feels pretty solid and comfy.

One thing that's always annoyed me with the Corsa is the clear light clusters (e.g indicator units front and rear) and the orange bulbs... always thought they'd look alot tidier with the chrome Silvertecs in there tbh.

Other than that, refurb the alloys and just stick the plates on (screws look untidy IMO) and I'd she's pretty much there :y:

It's got silver tech bulbs in the front, with 6k dipped beam HIDs and 100w main beam
I couldn't stick the plate on because of the curvature of the bumper and with the plate being so small it wouldn't flex :/

Since my last post, I've had the grille painted in black to match the mirrors and door mouldings etc. And I've purchased, and fitted a 3 inch Cobra catback, it sounds awesome, plenty of crackles pops and bangs can't wait to get a pre cat decat and a sports cat fitted :D
