Hi all

Currently in the process of lowering the front suspension but have came to a issue when removing the shock absorber. Looks like we need to remove this gold cap first.

According to the Haynes manual you need a Citroen tool which I don't have. Can anyone help or suggest what to use instead.

heres a picture for reference.

Either a punch and hammer or a pair of stilsons

What did you use and do you have to put the gold cap back on with updated shocks. Just about to do mine :)

Used a stilson to get them off. You have to put the caps back on once you have changed the shocks over.
