I have to take my rear axle apart, and was wondering do you think I could get away lowering the front with 30mm springs and the rear by 30-40mm without changing the shocks?

1.1 desire btw

thank!

I am down 45mm on the front on standard shocks and it is fine but on the rear I have GAZ adjustable but standards are fine

why do you have to take your axle apart? and yes mine was 60mm i believe on std shocks, mine would bottom out easily though but yes entirely possible

Stripping it down to replace bearings etc, see if I can put off buying a recon :(

unfortunately if you start seeing camber you might be lucky and have caught it but if there are wear on the pins where the bearings sit then its cheaper to get a recon one, i believe the pins are available but not something that you could swap over in your garage...

Aye I think thats going to be the case with this one sadly but it cant hurt to take a peek and see how it goes together + practice lowering!
