clutch problem?

Hello. Since i bought the car, there was a problem with releasing the clutch pedal. On first and second gear, when i release the peddal of clutch, it makes a bashing sound under the hood. I replaced the powersteering mechanism, except the pump. It didnt make any sound for some kilometres, than it started again. Guys, could it be the not working pump? It seems like there is a huge power there and since there is no pressure in powersteering...who knows, any idea? :)
