Squeaking from front end...

Hi, i own a phaze 2 vtr and since some heavy rain a few days ago it has developed a squeak from the front end, At first i thought it was the brakes but it does not go away when they are pressed. The noise is like an annoying Squeak squeak squeak when slightly turning left or right. the car has been lowered 50mm front. Has anybody had this problem before? Cheers.

anti roll bar? otherwise they love a suspension top mount, but thats normally a knock on turning

Yeah had top mount probs with a mk1 i used to have, that was more of a clunk. This sounds more like its coming from the wheels or there abouts as the squeak gets slower as i go slower but does not stop when brakes are applied, Need to check the anti roll bar anyway as it hits the bottom of the car on large bumps..

Upate Was the cv boot split and all the grease dried up causing the squeek. All sorted. .

ill have a look at mine my other half was laughing i thought it was birds then she reminded me there just not about of a night time lol

lol, aint gunna lie that made me chuckle
