Does a mark 1 saxo Vtr door fit on a mark 2 saxo Vtr

Hi all, some one has hit my passenger side door on my mark 2 saxo Vtr and I've found a mark 1 door. So my question is does a mark 1 saxo Vtr door fit on a mark 2 saxo Vtr ?

Yes mate you may have change the internals of the door

hinges might be slightly different... I had some one time on a door I was fitting which were slightly different and I had to angle grind the stops on them.

you shouldn't have to change any internals, pretty sure MK1 interior loom and MK2 door loom have the same connector. (they did when I changed my MK2 interior loom for a MK1 interior loom)

Only thing you'll have to change over will be your lock barrel so you can use your old key and the door card to match your interior. :)

Hi thanks for the info, what/where are the stops you had to grind off. FYI The door I found is on an R reg saxo if that helps for clarifying things.

They are exactly the same.

Only thing u will need to change is the locks.
