Just wondering if anyone is heading to Oulton Park on Monday for the GT Championship or VAG Trophy?
I've been there since Thursday working forr Team HARD, we're running 7 cars! Jack Goff will be racing on Monday too if anyone is interested! One of our drivers dropped out of racing so Jack has taken the seat :y:

How is the Team Hard driver that went over the barrier at Shell Hairpin? Seen some pictures and car looked a bit fucked.

He was fine! He was back in the pits straight after! Hes a bit sore and going to hospital today just to get checked out again but the car is definitely a gonner!
We lost 2 cars!
First race of the year, before they even made it to the first corner, the race was red flagged because they had to cut one of our drivers out of the car and air lift him to hospital :panic:

seen a few pics on my newsfeed as a friend was with his team there over the weekend.
I'm quite jelous...
Gets to go all over the world with nice cars and hot girls, He works for Team Parker Racing not sure if he is now doing stuff with Blancpain as he was at Monza recently for an endurance championship with a pair of R8's
How do you find it? What's your role?

Ahh thats quite cool, I just work in BTCC, VW Cup.VAG Trophy and sometimes JSCC/Saxmax so all national championships!
I'm a mechanic/engineer. So I work on a car, get it ready, fix it if needed etc and then I also sit down with my driver and talk about how the car was and look at the data and video footage etc and see if we can improve :)

Seems interesting and the atmosphere and tension at times must be a rush, bit more exciting than working in a garage :y:

Yeah definitely! We run 7 cars so things can get a bit tense sometimes when we're all wanting parts and tools at the same time and we all need them urgently etc but nothing beats the rush when youre in the pits, you see all the cars go off the line, your driver comes back round and he's climbed up a few places and you see his lap times improving and all that. I get so immersed into the race that it flies by! The buzz you get is amazing, because I made the car, I gave him advise and now he's doing well.
Its definitely worth doing if you ever get the opportunity!
