Castle Combe
Works out at 600 mile round trip give or take. It wasnt bad comfort wise, just fookin tedious, and a slight head ache from the zoorst.

not in a Saxo, but a 205 V6.
1100 miles roughly (got lost around Coln due to roadworks!) and took the Dover to Dunkirk freight ferry, two hours instead of the hour and a bit to Calais, but 18 euros each way!

only three tanks of fuel too, and of course, we did take the speedo past the end of the clocks on the Autobahn.

added the return leg to this map, we did cirencester to graz in one day (thursday) stayed in graz on the Friday then 5am Saturday headed Graz to Lienz, to meet up with about 20 other 205's at 9am.
spanked about several of the high passes in the Dolomites, over the border into Italy at one point and back to Lienz for the hotel and a meal, about 350 km that day, but I haven't got the route map for that to hand.
Sunday morning was another 150 km doing some of the local passes to Lienz then heading off home early afternoon in the Rain, got lost arounf Munich and ended up going nearly straight through the midlde, and again at Coln missed the junction and ended up in Holland!
It was about 1 am by then and we were both pretty tired so we stopped for a kip in a services near Eindhoven I think, but we both slept far too long and ended up tanking along through Holland and Belgium about an hour late for the ferry!
luckily we made the next one and they let us on for no extra charge.
