remove the whole metal pipe because they may use other methods which will still work if thats still there..

if u remove the rods and pins u wont beable to lock the door without ur fob, unless u rig up some other manual way to do it.

1st are you trying to de-pin it or just take the plastics off for spraying or something?

if spraying the plastic wont come of so you will have to do this anyway........

inside your door the metal rod which is attached to the pin travels down to a block. get you thumb around it, keep wiggling and pulling it and it should come out- mine did.

if not use a saw ant then wrap the remainning piece in lots of tape to stop it cluncking every time you go round a corner.

hope this helps

well ages ago i brought some new rods/pins for them but was wrong colour to match the car, i sprayed them just wandering replace them. i do knwo about de-pining it all. but i still want to be able to lock the doors when im still in the car..not for being a wimp or nout, getting hijacked lol nothing stupid like that but when me and the missus is in the car..need that type of privacy lol... don't want to undo the window then lock it from outside then do window up loool :)
i'd prefer to keep the rods n stuff in place incase later stage sell it it can be more of a standard type. Just want the Pin out tbh with rod still in tact.
Might have a crack at saw-ing it off again.

If you've got Remote Central Locking you can just press the button on the remote for lock/unlock. That's what I do and I'm de-pinned. Much better for security.

As for removing the pins, just pull it hard and weave it about. Shouldn't be stuck in unless previously tampered with.
