hi my sax hasnt been started in couple months iv gone to start it to give it a run & i have nothing, i put my jump start on it go to start & doesnt even turn over, iv taken starter motor off it spins ok so cleaned the connections still nothing, any ideas please, thanks

Alternator bearing prob seized up & wont allow belt to turn so engine cant turn over

Disconnect the belt & I bet it will start :)

+1 alternator was stuck on mine, can be freed up so new one not required!

tried it guys it didnt work lol, alternator seems jammed tho, took belt off still nothing, i noticed that i dont hear the ecu ect wine/power up before i try starting, any ideas would be appreciated

Get a socket on the crank shaft bolt and try manually turning the engine. Starr motor seized? Think you can get a socket on the alternator, bit of wd40 on it and crank it to loosen it off!

Think it's about 22mm for the crank btw!

does it make any noise at all? Check the feeds to the starter for power

ill try manually turning it over, mate literally all that happens is a single click as key is all the way & nothing, going to look at earths, & starter motor connections have been cleaned up

Sure its not a sticking starter solenoid? Either bash it with a hammer and bar (not too hard though so you break anything) Or stick the car and give and rock it back and forth. Sometimes frees them up
