Hi

Been advised need new discs and pads a must on front but may need new passenger front driveshaft.

Read theres tapered and non. Think based on year mine are non.

Can you advise if tapered or non on 1999 1.4i sx auto T reg??

Should i replace both drivers and passengers side driveshafts at same time?

Also, pls can you explain why driveshaft is different on auto box than manual?

Ebay ones are around 40ish but jr cvjoint i think it is dont stock my.model?? Cp4l quoting 120+ each!! Why so expensive?? Surely autobox cant push up price that much??

Also, as a complete noob to citroen, saxo's and cars in general;

does my model have rear brake discs? Sorry im dimm

Can the interior dash centre, door inners and bulbs be removed and replaced easily?

Can a shark fin stubby sting type aerial be easily fitted ie just u screw plug n play? Hate the standard ones.

As have dead bulb in overhead interior light, cracked centre blower vent and door inners material fraying and seatbelt hole surround in rear missing so wanted to try n spruce it up a bit.

**partners first car and she due to qualify as nurse sept so needs run around for district.nursing etc so needs to be economical but safe too. Would do repairs myself but not.mech.minded and disabled so cant get down to access bits.

**found good local.mechanic now cheap but well serviced shall we say.

Thanks in advance guys.

Great forum. Enjoying reading and learning bits.and viewin pics of all ur nice motors.

The people in the know probably haven't seen it yet pal! I'd just get the discs and pads done then see how she is!

There isn't much knowledge on the auto boxes on here besides Steve67 (I think) as I'd say 99% of owners have manuals
